Kaskade’s “Freaks of Nature” Tour Making 2 Stops in Northwest

On March 12th, superstar DJ/producer Kaskade announced some very exciting news. This summer, he launches his largest North American tour yet, hitting more than 46 cities in total from May through August! Check out the poster below (and check http://www.freaksofnaturetour.com/ for updated tour date and ticketing information).

While he is known by most as Kaskade, a master of hard-hitting house beats and uplifting, progressive dance sets, behind this electric moniker is the man and artist, Ryan Raddon. This tour announcement comes on the heels of his busiest few years to date. Following his 2010 residency at Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas and the success of Skullcandy’s Kaskade-headlined Identity Festival, one of the first traveling EDM tours in the United States, Kaskade released his newest album Fire & Ice.The October 22, 2012 release, a double-album featuring cool and subdued lounge-type melodies on the Ice half and their amped up dancefloor-shredding counterparts on the Fire side, displays the producer’s wide range of ability. A testament to this fact, Raddon even lends his support to a side project, the smooth and seductive lounge/house group Late Night Alumni. It’s no wonder that he placed at #30 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ Poll and was voted “America’s Best DJ of 2011” by the DJ Times poll. Thus, it is with great excitement that USC Events and LiveNation PNW announce Kaskade’s two stops in the northwest along his “Freaks of Nature” tour: Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at the Knitting Factory in Spokane and Friday, August 10, 2012 at the WaMu Theater in Seattle! In the meantime, keep an eye on this producer of feel-good grooves and infectious beats by liking him on Facebook (Kaskade Music Mondays anyone?) and checking out his Soundcloud where many of his mashups are available for free download. Fanclub presales to both of his Summer 2012 shows in the Pacific Northwest began March 15, 2012 and we have word that they are already selling fast!
